VETERINARY MATTERS.
ORGANISING WEST OF PLAINS.
SUCCESS OF CLUB ASSURED Mr. P. Kinninmont, organiser for the Farmers Veterinary Club, the boundaries which include the whole of the western portion of the Hauraki Plains, has met with success in his canvass for members. A systematic canvass is being made of the Waitakaruru, Pipiroa, Patetonga, Kaihere and Ngatea districts and so far practically all the farmers to the number of over 100 have joined up. With a large number yet to be approached, the membership of the club should, for a beginning at any rate, total between 150 and 200, the success of the club therefore, being assured. When a sufficient number have been obtained, a general meeting of members will be held and a committee elected, each district to have equal representation. The salary tor a veterinary will then be fixed and applications for that position called
