OHINEMURI CLUB.
ANNUAL GATHERING. The annual meeting of the OhineMuri Club was held on Tuesday evening, when about forty members were present. The meeting was presided over by the president, Mr E. W. Porritt, who commented on the fact of the growing interest that was being shown in club life and club matters generally. The report and balance-sheet set out the workings, of the club for the past year, and showed the institution to be in a sound financial state. The officers elected for the ensuing year were: President, Mr J. L. Hanna; vice-president, Mr Arch. White; committee, Messrs E. Edwards, W. J. Towers, A. Steedman, A. Gorrie, and W. D. Nicholas. At the Conclusion of the business portion of the meeting the members were entertained to supper by the retiring president, Mr E. W. Porritt.
