Own Correspondent. Mr A. McKinnon is making great progress with his tennis lawn, and expects to have it in full playing order for next season. The County Council has supplied a first-class grader for the Pukemio Riding. It is now in the hands of Mr Sefton, who is repairing the main road from Huntly to this district. Mr J. Brown has just completed his shearing. Mr Hampton of Auckland is on a visit to Mr A McKinnons. Master A. Jamieson is spending his holidays in Auckland. Messrs Sefton and Leek paid a visit to the Ruakura Experimental Farm this week. They had a most enjoyable time and received some very valuable information with regard to farm work.
