MINERS’ HALL—TO-NIGHT Mr Calder is providing specially attractive picture fare for the ’Xmas season and his many Patrons who are not going away will find a visit to the pictures a pleasant and inexpensive way of enjoying themselves. The programme to-night (Friday) features a very powerful Vitagraph drama entitled “ Regans Daughter ” A strong Reliance 2 part drama Sympathy Sal ” which is a western mine story, supports the star. A special subject entitled “ With the Allied Fleets at the Dardanelles ” shows many of the warships which have since been sunk. The balance of the pictures are well chosen and includes the latest keystone which features Mark Swain. The management cordially invite all to see this programme. For this Saturdry ’Xmas night a specially suitable programme will be screened containing as its leading attraction a mutual masterpicture 4000 feet long entitled 11 A Child of God ” this is an impressive and good story illustrating the redemption of a rough ranchman through the love of a pure woman. It is a drama containing the highest ideals and will appeal to all An exquisitely colored sacred subject “ The Life of Moses ” will be shown as an extra. A big supporting budget of rational and entertaming subjects will also be provided, amongst them being the latest war pictures and also one of the Hospital ship “ Maheno ” showing all her internal arrangements for the comfort of our boys. Seats for Xmas night should be booked at McNees no later than this Friday. A special invitation is extended to all to come along on Xmas night.

Mr Calder also wishes to announce he will put on another grand change of programme on Monday (Boxing night) special particulars at the theatre.
