The popular Kennedys’ coterie of musicians will appbar at the Miners’ HAH next Tuesday April 27th., Sincij their last appearance in Auckland a few months ago this talented company have toured the Dominion, playing to good houses everywhere. The Auckland Herald says—They are certainly one of the most entertaining combinations of talent yet heard here, whilst the Star also passed very favourable comment on the versatility of the artists comprising the company. The programme Which will be presented, is full of really good music but is not too classical. A cha mi g i iterspersing of good but popular .items makes the entertainment such a delight that it can be enjoyed by ail. The celloist; of the group, Mr Laurie Kennedy, is an exceptionally cip aljle musician, while Mr Keith Kennedy is a master on the violin. The soprano, Miss; Dorothy Grace has a sw.et voice which is nicely modulate i and is*sufe to capture the audience. Miss Rose Fitzgerald has a full rich contralto voice and lie:- ballads from Scotch, English and' Irish sources will prove most popular. Mr Lance Kennedy’s contribu: tions will include flute solos arid vocal numbers, iho instrumental quartette and other combinations complete an entertainment which will be found extremely palatable to Huntly audiences. The prices are dress circle, 3s, front stnlls-23, and back stalls, Is children half price to each part. Reserves for dress circle may be booked at McNee's without extra charge.
