KING’S HALL. Owing to the King’s Hall being otherwise engaged there will be no pictures to-night. For Saturday and Monday nights programmes of the latest and best films will be screened, both night’s bills featuring double stars. Saturday's programme is headed by a Universal Rex Detective drama entitled “ Thumb Prints ” showing how the criminal is brought to bay through the aid of the finger print system. “ The Scapegrace, ” 3000 ft in length will also bo shown. These will be supported by an excellent assortment of scenics and comics including one of the ever favourite actors, Ford Sterling in “ The Tale of a Hat.” For Monday the films de luxe will be “When Light Came Back, ” “ His Blind Wife ” “ War Topical,” and a varied programme of the Newest and Best films.
