MINERS’ HALL.

Programmes of the highest possible standard will be presented to picture lovers, during the week end. The star feature .tonight is the ravishingly beautiful pathecolour, Drama, entitled, “ Honesty. ” This is one of Pathes masterpieces being the most artistically coloured film yet presented and is over 4000 ft. long. A huge supporting programme has been arranged for, amongst which is a fine topical of life on the New Zealand troopships en route to the Suez. This film which is 800 ft. long, will prove most interesting, and patrons may be able to pick out some members they know. An irresistible keystone comedy entitled, *' His Sisters Kids, ” will prove a champion laugh raiser, whilst three other comedies will provide mirth in a lesser degree. Topicals and scenics complete such an entertaining selection, that no one should miss such a meritorious bill of fare. A grand change will be screened on Saturday when the famous play and latest film triumph, *’ One of Our Girls, ” will be shown. This romantic play which is 5000 feet long, is featured by Miss Hazel Dawn, America’s popular young actress who is. supported by a brilliant New York cast. It is a fine story with many thrilling situations. A good supporting selection of subjects complete a popular programme, and in addition, and at extra expense, Mr Calder will also show the latest war film entitled “ King George on the Battlefield.” This picture is of historical importance and no doubt readers will remember the cables a few months ago, announcing our King’s visit to the front. Patrons will now see it in pictorial form. Book reserves for Dress Cirle at McNee’s to avoid disappointment.
