A Rangiriri on Tuesday, 19th inst., we yarded 588 head of cattle for which there was a good demand and most satisfactory prices were obtained. Fat cows made £7 7s 6d to £8 10s, forward cows £5 3s to £5 16s, store cows £3 5s to £4 4s, 3-year steers £6 16s to £7 12, 2J4-year steers £5 13s to £6. 15-month steers £3 10s to £3 14s, 18-month steers £4 6s to £4 10s, yearling steers £3 4s, good weaner calves £1 13s to £2 ss, smallfer calves £1 4s to £1 10s, grown bulls 654 gus to 9H gns, dairy cows £5 12s 6d to £7 10s. KAUROA SALE. At the Kauroa sheep fair and stock sale we had a fair entry. which all changed owners at following prices :—2-tooth ewes and wethers 15s to 15s 3d, 2-tooth wethers 13s 6d, kitlable cpws £6 ss, 2 to 2V<£-year steers £4 15s to £5 6s, cows and calves £6 2s, 15-month steers £3 8s to £3 17 6d 2J4-year heifers in calf £4 10s.

At Pio Pio on Thursday 3-year steers realised £7, 2V£-y«ar steers £5 12s 6d to £6 ; 15-month steers £3 9s to £3 15, 20-month steers £4 6s to £4 10s, 20-month heifeisbeen with bull £3 15s to £3 17s, 18-month empty heifers £3 ss, yearling steers, £2lss, calves £1 17s. OPAUPO SALE. At Opaupo on Tuesday, 12th inst., we yarded 547 head cattle, which were all required by buyers present. HAMILTON SALE. At Hamilton on Thursday a good demand existed for’all cattle and sheep. TE AWAMUTU. At TeAwamutu, on Saturday, we yarded a large entry of cattle, all classes being well represented. Buyers were present ’from TeKuiti, Taumarunui, the surrounding districts, and there was good competition throught, and nearly the whole entry was disposed of.
