The total of the fund is steadily creeping up, the amount received to date being £6245 9s 2d. The Palmerston North contribution is the third received from that Borough and from Wanganui it is the second. The total received from the former Borough is £269 9s sd. and from the latter £l3B 5s 7c’. The amount “ Marjorie B. .George £2 6s Od. ” is the proceeds of a Bride Doll Guessing Competition at Te Puke.
