Trap Accident

Last Monday night while returning from Huntly in his trap Mr. Jonathan Valentine, of Kimihia, sustained injuries of so serious a nature that he was advised to proceed to Auck-and to go under the X rays. The horse, a young one, started by the sudden appearance and barking of two dogs, became restive and dragged the trap over the side of the road, Mr Valentine being violently thrown out and sustaining severe injuries to his left arm and side.
