Aiter a short. viGi n. Hismi; Airs I. ibiacK. lou.mec* to Auok land yesterday. Master Willie Peckman. who lias successfully undergone an operation in Auckland, is expected to return home to-morrow. Mr J. P. Bailey and Mr. C. Johnson have been re-elected chairman of the Waikato and Raglan County Councils respectively. Mr. Evans, foreman of the Auckland Board of Education, visited the school yesterday when the various repairs required were pointed out by the Head-teacher and the chairman of the School Committee.
