Huntly Hibernians.
INSTALLATION. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Huntly Hibernians was held last Tuesday evening, Bro. W. Darby presiding over a moderate attendance. After the usual roll call and the confirmation of the minutes, a very pleasing ceremony took place, namely, the initiation of another member. The president, after acquainting the candidate with the rules and regulations of the Society called on the Warden. Bro. M. McLeod, to invest the regalia on the new member. The installation was then proceeded with, Bro. A. Webb being initiated into the Lodge amid the congratulations of the older brethren. Two other candidates have been proposed for admittance, so that the membersip is increasing steadily, a feature which augurs well for the future prosperity of the branch. After receiving the satisfactory report of the auditors, Bros. Geo. Monaghan and A. Berry, the meeting came to a close.
