CAMERAMEN WITH BYRD. PARTY

WELLINGTON, December 18.

Two Paramount newsreel cameramen are accompanying Rear-Admiral Byrd on his Antarctic expedition. It lias been arranged that one of the cameramen will be with Byrd in the plane which will explore sections of the unknown portion -of Antarctica, the other travelling with the various land parties. The film 'will be sent back in carefully planned relays in the Byrd supply ship. From the Dominion the pictures will be forwarded to the Paramount- Studios in Hollywood, and from there- prints will be made available to theatres [throughout the world. ’ It will be remembered that Rear-Admiral Byrd’s previous voyage to the .South Polar regions was also filmed and was shown in the Dominion,, as a full-length feature, entitled “With Byrd at the South Pole.”
