WHEAT TAX
BY CHINA ON AUSTRALIA.

CANBERRA, December 20
The Federal Government has cabled for information from the Chinese Government respecting the Chinese duty of sevcnpence per picul (130 pounds) on the wheat and flour entering China. The Australian wheat exports to China for 1932-33 were valued at £4,943,000, and the flour exports at £1,069,000.
