OTAGO HARBOUR BOARD LOAN.
(Received this day at 10.46 a.m.) LONDON, December 12. The Otago Harbour Board is issuing a redemption loan of £600,000 to repay the 5 per cent, maturing in January.

The,. “Daily Express”says Alexander Shaw is going to Austraia within a few days, to assist at a conference to discuss counter action to America’s subsidised competition between Australian and New Zealand.
MELBOURNE MARKET STRONG. MELBOURNE, December 13. The wool sales market is strong, any alteration .in prices being in the sellers’; favour. A’ total of 8800 bales were offered, there being a good clearance.
