DARING THEFT
FROM MELBOURNE JEWELLERS

MELBOURNE, December 12
A thief to-day smashed a window of Hardy Brothers, jewellers, Collins St. Hje t|hen snatched several trays of diamond rings, worth thousands of pounds, aiul escaped by running through different buildings and lanes. He however, lost a umber of valuable rings during liis escape, some of which were returned to the owners.
