ELECTION CHARGE
AN ALLEGED BREACH

CHRISTCHURCH, December 11
Summonses have been served on four supporters of the Labour Party, to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on Friday, to answer charges of ■ interfering- with elector,3 during the taking of the poll for the tramway election on November 30. It is alleged that the defendants interfered with persons by handing them printed tickets, setting out the names of the Labour Party candidates.
