BLENHEIM, December 9. jj Trevor Chandler, the ten-year-old son of Percy Chandler, of Grovestown, Avhile playing Avith a companion in a. boat tied to the bank of the Wairau River, at Grovestown, on Saturday evening, slipped overboard into twenty feet of water. His companion seized him twice as he came to-the surface, but he was unable to hold him. The Body. Avas recovered this afternoon. BATHER DROWNED IN STREAM. MILTON, December 9. Edward James Coleman, a single naan, aged 20, wag accidentally drowned Avhile bathing in the stream near Milton on Saturday.
