WELLINGTON RECEPTION PLANS (Per Press Association—Copyright). WELLINGTON, November 28. Representatives of ,•various - organisations this afternoon made arrangements for a combined reception to Rear Admiral Byrd in the Town Hall on Friday of next week. Mr Leigh Hunt, who convened the meeting, stated that the newly-formed Antarctic Society had radioed Admiral Byrd, and he replied that he was behind in his timetable, and would not be able to attend more than one function. He was due at Wellington on December 6, and would remain in port until December 9.
