(Received, this day at 12.25 p.m.) LEIPZIG, 'November Counsellor iHeller, a police specialist in .Communism, opening the “political” section of the Reichstag trial, produced .a mass of documents including police reports throughout Germany, intended to prove that Communists were planning an armed rising during the weeks preIceding the fire. 'lncluded was a report of a meeting iat which Torgler presided, ‘after which a secret session wa s held, when an unnamed speaker advocated suborning the IReichw.ehr police by girls using charms to convert them to Communism, persuading them to steal weapons.
Sack protected against 'Heller presenting the reports as facts. Torgler denied being present. Atone alleged they were meetings of which he • had not heard.
The Court announced that Heller must, in future, confine evidence to documents which could be produced in Court and ichecked by witnesses.
