.CHRISTCHURCH, November 26. Anxiety is -felt for the safety of (Mr s Rosa Boyle, who is thought .to •have Leen drowned in the Waiau ißiver. She is the wife of Mr Al'ister Patrick Boyle-, of -Pleasant Point, South Canterbury. ■ l Mr,.,ap.(l .had, ..been -staying at Hammer Springs, and left on 'Friday morning to return to .South Canterbury, and Mrs Boyle, it is reported, bathed, in. the Waiau River, on the. way. . Yesterday and to-day the Constable at Culv.erden and -a search party had been at work continuously, but there is no news yet as to the success Ql the search. ' Mrs Boyle is aged 26; and is, a daughter of Mr (Howard Tripp, of Timayiy .
