The decision to cease operations next week in ..connection with the hobby calf industry was announced by Mr V . A. (chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-Operative Pig Marketing Association. Mr 'Phillips stated that advice had been received that the British market was glutted with supplies, and rather than ask farmers to lower prices than these at present offering, it had been decided t° discontinue.
