The Sunday Graphic states that shoe manufacturers have decreed oew fashions in shoes, with the maximum height of heels two inches, to replace the pin points now worn.

The local preacher at Thirsk, Yorkshire, aged 72, has crossed black currants with gooseberries, retaining the flavour of the former and the jueiness of the latter.
BIG REVIVAL IN ITALY.
ROME, November 23
The “Ilavora Fascista” says that the Italian woollen industry is making a rapid recovery. Unemployment in the industry has been reduced to., insignificant figures. New plants and buildings, and scores of factories were reopened during the year, and-many are resuming double shifts.
