FORECAST AT NOON TO-DAY.
An anti-cyclone of rather slight intensity ,i$ passing to the north of New Zealand/ while a depression, which covers Australia and the western- Tasman Sea, is beginning to affect the South Island. The forecast is for moderate but freshening northerly winds. Weather cloudy to overcast with rain developing. Temperatures warm. Sea smooth to moderate,, but rising.
