FIRST EXCURSION
ON NEW STRATFORD RAILWAY.

NEW PLYMOUTH, November 19
The first excursion from Tauniarunui to New Plymouth over the new Stratford! Main Trunk Railway took place to-day. It was a marked success. A large trainload visited the port of New Plymouth. The official party were entertained at luncheon aboard the liner Akaroa.
