WHEN MOTOR CAR SOMERSAULTS

Three persons; were, injured, one seriously, on Hutt Road this afternoon when a brand' new saloon car . overturned near Onslow-Road Junction. The ' car, which was proceeding in a northerly • direction” endeavoured to avoid another car. coming toward the city, and withoutstriking the other vehicle., .it ,got out .of, control,...and .turned over several times before- coming to. rest upside 'down.- •! • - • * ■ - ; The' driver, of-the car was, W. Wallace (Johnsonville) and he was ‘ accompanied, by his wife and, Mis S. H* Peryman.' On, the three, Mrs Wa 1 bice was most seriously .injured, receiving severe wounds to the head and chest.. •Wallace / and Mrs Peryman ' escr ~>ed with rather lesser injuries, WaUace receiving scalp/- wounds and shock, and Mrs Peryman ..a. broken collarbone. ,
