FRENCH BUDGET
STORMY PASSAGE EXPECTED

PARIS, November 17, The Premier of France, M. S'arraut, has re-introduced the budget, which is expected to receive a stormy passage. M. Sarraut presented the Chamber with the first part of the midget proposals. These aim at securing. 29£ millions by economies, and suppression of tax evasions, while the estimates for 1931 are reduced by eight millions, and thus 371 million would be obtained towards the deficit, how officially estimated at 75,100,000 francs. The second part of the plan will be produced if, and when, these measures are passed.
