TOLL OF THE ROAD
BRITISH FATALITIES INCREASE
LAST YEAR’S TOTAL EXCEEDED

LONDON, November 16
The number of people killed and injured an Britain as the result of road motor accidents has already this year exceeded last year’s total, which was 213,317.
The toal of the victims since 1918 exceeds two millions.
There is to be a meeting of the Pedestrians’ Association, at which the relatives of the victims will attend. The Association will urge the Government to take immediate action. The Association are specially emphasising the case of a Scottish family, whose three children have been killed within the year at the same spot.
