The - wedding - was .solemnised at Holy Trinity Church, Grcymouth, yesterday, of Gwendoline Esther, second daughter of Mr and Mrs James Kyle, Urey mo util, to Alwyn, . second son of jMr' -a&d'- Mrs. Cf- Leinin,- of Invercargill. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon J. A. Jermyn. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore, a charming gown of white silk corduroy organdie, made on slinily fitting princess lines, the hemline being emphasised with organdie ruffles. With this was -worn a coatee edged with similar ruffles, the sleeves being puffed to the elbows. Her tulle veil was simply arranged, and caught at. each side of the head with sprigs of orange blossom', Silk gloves and, velvet' shoes completed the ensemble. She carried a : showey bouquet, of roses', ' lily' of the valley and maidenhair fern. . The bride Was attended by her two .sisters, Gertude and Mabel, dressed alike in green silk organdie, the skirts being gored . arid -completed with" a hemline 9/ three flared frills, while a new,: sleeve. effect was in-

corporated. , The waist lines were neatly defined' with' grpen satin tie belts. They wore, pretty green crinoline hats, with mittens land shoes to tone, and carried shower bouquets of scented rhododendrons, cinerarias and maidenhair fern. , The duties of best man were carried out by .Mr Bert .Lentin, cousin of • the bridegroom, and Mr Len Schaef. .-.was . groomsman.
