At a meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association on Sepiebmer 13, a resolution was passed affirming its opinion that the provision of a. modern maternity hospital at Dunedin was of primary importance, end urging on the Government the importance of proceeding with the completion of the scheme for improving training in obstetrics initiated 'by the foundation of the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the funds that were raised through the energy and generosity of the .women of tfie Dominion.
