The weather for Derby Day at Randwick is overcast. Very light rain has fallen during the night. The meteorologist predicts further showers and thunderstorms. QUEENSLAND FLOODING. SYDNEY, September 30. Heavy rains have fallen over the northern and central coast. The rivers in the last two days are rising and local floodings have occurred. Many rivers are rising in central and south western districts of Queensland. Heavy losses of sheep are reported one station losing seven hundred. Railway services in some sections are interrupted. A railway bridge over the Bulloo river is covered and the water is rising at the rate of two inches an hour. Coastal shipping encountered high sons on the north coast o* New South Wales. Five coasters sheltered yesterday.
