ROYAL ASSENT
TO N.S.W. BILL. (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 10.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, September 27. lit was announced in the Legislative Assembly to-night that the Royal assent had been given to the Legislative Council Elections Act, which provides machinery for electing members to the reformed Council. Thus Mr Lang’s recent petition to the King to delay assent was of no avail.
