AIR CRASH
TWO NOTABLES KILLED. (Umted Press Association — By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received this day a 6-5 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Sep. 26. Sir Michael Qppenheimer and Major Cochrane Patrick were killed in an aeroplane crash at Johanneburg aerodrome. The machine had just taken off, when it made a steep, vertical turn which proved too sharp, and it hit the ground with the engines full out. Major Patrick was the pioneer of aerial survey ip South Africa.
