Gulan Jilnai, formerly the Afghan Ambassador to Turkey, and Sardar Hidpatullam, the former Afghan Con-sul-General for India, who both were in office during King Amanullah’s reign, have been executed at Kabul. They were associated in activities subversive of the present King’s regime. IN CUBAN WATERS WASHINGTON, September 20. The State Department has liberalised its intentions to the U.S. naval icorcmands in Cuban waters. It has granted them permission to' land p.rmcd forces, if they consider such necessary to protect American citizens or the nationals of other countries.
