PAINTER'S DEATH
CAUGHT IN MACHINERY.
NEW PLYAIOUTH, August 16,
The death occurred; in hospital of Air J. F. Kirkland, aged 63, a painter,. a s the result of injuries received .while working at the Patua dairy factory. Deceased was engaged in painting tlie interior of the building when his clothing became entangled in. the end of a revolving shaft of machinery. He was whirled round and received extensive injuries.
