RELIEF FUND RACE MEETING government REMITS HALF TOTALISATOR TAX.

, The Auckland Racing Club’s extra meeting held on July 22, in aid of the Governor-General’s winter relief fund resulted in a loss of about, .£3OO, bur as the Government has decided to remit half of the totalisator tax, about £4OO will be available .for the fund.
