JEWS DEMONSTRATE
AGAINST NAZIS
CINEMA ATTACK ON GERMANY, (United Press Association—By Electric Telegi aph—Copyright.) LONDON, July 20. The “Daily Express’ ” Paris correspondent says: “To-day’s antiNazi demonstration at London electrified an immense German population here. France has given a home to many of Germany’s former big men of sc.encc, literature, philosophy, and art. A cinema mass-attack of Hitlerite Germany is being planned from here by her own former leaders. I ranee is delighted at this turn of events, as she recognises that Germany js now more isolated in Europe than any nation since Napoleon met his Waterloo.
A French publishing house will shortly begin the publishing of German books that recently were burned in the streets of German cities by Chancellor Hitler’s orders.

BROWN .SHIRTS ORGANISED
HITLER’S LATEST DECREE
(Received this day at 11.25 a.m, LONDON, July 21
The “Guardian’s” Berlin correspondent ~ay.s that Hitler’s decree, organising the Brown Shirts in eight regional groups, is a military measure of far reaching liiportniiet!. The Brown I'HiiVts henceforth will perform, the .double function of defending’ the| dictatorship against internal and external enemies. The groups would correspond with th. e existing Reichwehr groups, so the Brown Shirts, being the instrument of the dictatorship, are bound eventually to absorb the Reiclnvehr, who hitherto showed certain distrust of Hitlcr:»sm. Hitler has now begun to grapple with this past remnant of pre-Nazi Germany. The Brown .Shirts are likely to develoo a formidable fighting force. It is ironical that the decree was promulgated immediately after Mr Henderson V, visit to Berlin, thus an incomparable, and the most important step taken by post-war Germany towards rearmament was accompanied by friendly and conciliatory assurances with Henderson.
