WOODS REACHES ALLAHABAD

ALLAHABAD, July 20

Woods has been forced to postpone his flight for two <> r three days, and will dismantle his plane for repairs.

Woods later decided to fly to Lucknow to carry out the repairs. He arrived at Lucknow this evening. Woods was forced clown at Gaya last night but managed to proceed to Allahabad arriving with a leaking petrol tank.

MATTERN IN ALASKA

Jimmie Mattern, whose plane was wrecked six weeks ago in Siberia, landed here to-dav in a Soviet plane that was piloted by a Russian aviator. WILEY POST’S PLANE -CRASHES. FAIRBANKS (Alaska), July 20. A message from Flat, Alaska, states ♦that -Wiley Rost crashed late on Thursday, at the airport field there. The (aviator was not hurt. The plane noseulivod over. 'Ll'... propeller was bent .and the landing gear was damaged. Rost lias -lost seven hours over Alaska. It is believed that he will be able to bake to the air again on Friday. ROST AGAIN EX ROUTE.
