A Foreign Office communiquo states: “An exchange -'of took pla-ce at the Foreign Office between M, Litvinoff and Sir J. Simon, in which they made clear to one another the position of their respective Governments on the present obstacles to a renewal of An-glo-Soviet trade negotiations. Another
meeting has been arranged for a continuation of the conversations.
