OF X.Z TEAM TO OLYMPIA

GAMES ASSOCIATION CRITICISED

[Per Press Association Copyright.)

DUNEDIN, June 19

An athletic writer in the “Evening Star” ways that the publication of the reports by the late Mr \Y.- J. Hcenan, who accompanied the New Zealand team to the Olympic Game* naturally gives rise, to the question as to what has hapjiened to the report submitted by the manager \Mr P. X. Bundle), who also had valuable suggestions to make from his observations at- the Games,

The writer approached Mr Rundle and was informed that hiis report had been forwarded to the New Zealand Olympic Games Association many months ago, but that he had received no acknowledgment ami his -report had not yet been published. Mr Rundle also stated that some of the suggestions made hv Mr Hcenan were on similar lines to these contained in the .report of the manager himself. • ‘The Olympic Games Association,’ s n ys the writer, “certainly owes an explanation to the public and the various affiliated bodies as to why Mr Rundle’s report bins net vet appeared, especially in view of the, fact that tiro view*; of one who accompanied the team in an (advisory capacity have l>oen made public; whether by the Olympic Association or not does not effect the position. This d'datopincss n n the part of the Olympic Association does not tend to instil in the public the confidence in the management of the association that i^-denrahle.”
