STOCK DYING
DROUGHT IN AUSTRALIA. (Australian Press Association). (Received June 20 at 8.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 20. The long absence of rain is responsible for the deplorable conditions in some of the finest pastoral properties in southern Queensland and far western New South Wales, where sheep and cattl© are perishing in thousands owing to lack of feed. Pitiful stories arc reported from these areas. Graziers are unable to find suitable agistment within reasonable distance of tlieir stations.
