At the conference of tho • Federal Luoour l'niuy yostunrgy, Air J. H. fecuil.n, the Leader, appealed for unity. Air Scallm declared that only one \ oico could speak for Labour throughout Australia and lie told the two hundred! delegates present that he would stand for nothing immoral or confiscatory, but he declared that the nationalisation of hanking was essential.
SOCIALISATION UNITS MEET
SYDNEY, April 23
Some 250 delegates of the Socialisation units and of unions have held a conference in defiance of the instructions of the. Trades Hall. Representatives from the Minors’ Federation and the Australian Railw .... Union were present.
The conference opposed a breakaway from the Lang section, hut it decided to work for the overthrow of the. Lang Socialisation of Credit policy, in favour of “All-in Socialisation,” as a fighfing platform for the next Federal elections.
