MORTGAGORS ACT
INTERPRETATION DIFFICULTY.
NEED OF SPECIAL JUDGES.
WELLINGTON, March 28
The “Post” says: It is understood that considerable difficulty is being experienced in interpreting the various acts dealing with questions of relief for mortgagors, and a feeling is growing in some quarters that some action should be taken by the Government to overcome the difficulty. A “Post”, reported ha 9 authoritatively been informed that a bequest has been made to the-Government by interested parties that temporary judges should be appointed to deal with the position. . , Questioned, to-day, Mr Cobbo (Minister of .Justice) said that the Government liad not yet reached any decision as to the appointment of a temporary judge in th© event of,the Government deciding so to do, would he for Mr Forbes in his capacity as AttorneyGeneral, to make an, appointment.
