Eight cases of shop-lifting were admitted by Isabella Ritchie, an elderly married woman, at the Police Court, to-day. The charges covered a period of two years, and referred to women’s clothing and fancy goods. The total value was over £4O. She is living apart from her husband, from whom she received £1 weekly, and had a large sum of money in the bank. ,Sentence was deferred for a week,, to enable further' inquiries to be made, rtnd the presentation of the Probationer Officer’s report. ,
