MORE PRODUCTION
EXPERIENCE OF DAIRY ASSOCIATION.
DUNEDIN, February 21
The South Island Hairy Association, whose headquarters are at Dunedin, finds that the production of its 110 factories so far this season is decidedly greater than in the corresponding period of last season. Shipping facilities are quite satisfactory, there having been no hold-up of goods for ex* port, though some of the steamers have come out in ballast. With prices as they are, cheese-making i s making a better return than butter-making. Nevertheless, factories would welcome a rise in the cheese market as a relief from anxiety.
