There will he strong -opposition to the Small Farms (Relief of 1 Unemployment) Bill, when the measure;,'comes up for the second reading in the Legislative Council this afternoon.';,,Tt is considered by several members ’that under the Bill the rights of the ..mortgagee have been seriously interfered with, and a substantial number of the Council view with concern the • drastic powers which have been taken by the Crown. It will not he surprising 'if the Bill does not get to the second reading
