FIELD-MARSHALL ROBERTSON

RUGBY, February 13

It is understood that in accordance with a desire expressed by himself, Field-Marshall Robertson’s burial will be a private one, although the firstpart of the service will b e held in Westminster Abbey.

In'a message to Lady Robertson, the King and Queen referred to the afi'ection and esteem in which they held the late Field-Marshall and they added;—"The Army will mourn the loss of one of its senior Fjokl-Marshalls, whoso remarkable car'CVr and invaln. able service in the Great War will ever be recorded in military history.”
