Aft.ea- the session of the Deputies lasted twenty-seven hours, the President su-ipended the proceedings for an hour.
Thereafter, owing to an agreement behind the scenes between the Radicals and the Socialists to support the Government, the latter had all its own way. The Finance Bill! was passed twelve hours later by 359 to 225 voles the division being made on a question of confidence.
