In the opinion of the Prune Minister, the present cession of parliament will t .nd in about three weeks’ time. Next week is to b e devoted to the second reading ol the Sales Tax Ball, and by the time the second reading has concluded, it 'is anticipated that the interested parties will have made their representations concerning ex-
emptions. If any changes are to be made in the •list, these will be. made during the committee, stages of the Bill. The l lllm e Minister stated to-day that a Tax.n.•gif.l ancl a 'Customs amendment ratifying the resolutions pissed on Wednesday night, will also be introduced during tli e coming week.
