Replying to questions this afternoon regarding the position of Mr Stallworthy, who lias openly declared him* self ag a supporter of Mr W. Downie Stewart, and a definite opponent of the Government on the exchange issue, Mr Forbe s said that Mr Stallworthy has been absenting himself from the caucus for quite a long time, and probably could be regarded as having definitely severed connection with the Coalition. H e could probably .be quite rightly regarded as among those ' who wish to see Mr Coates and himself out.
